Campsen, III<\/a> ( R &#8211; Beau, Chas, Coll ) anti-personhood judicial supremacist, professing Christian ( Baptist )<\/p>\n<p>___________________<br \/>\n___________________<\/p>\n<p><u>Summary of Recent Events<\/u>:<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">1) With the pressure building for a Recall vote on the floor of the Senate, which would have potentially put all 45 SC Senators on the record, one way or another, as to their stand on\u00a0the SC Personhood Constitutional Amendment, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=1172727132\" target=\"_blank\">Larry Martin<\/a> ( R &#8211; Pickens ) agreed last Thursday ( March 10 ) to finally assign <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> to\u00a0a Judiciary Subcommitte ( over 10 months after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> was introduced on April 28, 2015 ).\u00a0As requested, he assigned <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> to a favorable subcommittee ( two <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> co-sponsors\u00a0and one opponent ), with Senator <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0193181795\" target=\"_blank\">Lee Bright<\/a> ( R-Gvl\/Spart ), the primary bill sponsor, as the Subcommittee Chairman, and Senator <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=1172727132\" target=\"_blank\">Larry Martin<\/a> also agreed to vote for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a>\u00a0in the full Judiciary Committee [ He has also said since then that he intends to vote <i><u>against\u00a0<\/u><\/i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> on the floor of the full SC Senate. ]<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">2) On Wednesday, March 16, <a href=\"https:\/\/personhood.sc\/\" target=\"_blank\">Personhood South Carolina<\/a> conducted a Personhood Day in\u00a0Columbia, urging personhood supporters to meet with SC Representatives and SC Senators,\u00a0followed by an energizing rally in the First Floor Lobby of the SC State House at which several evangelical and protestant Christians pastors spoke strong messages of exhortation and challenge, well received by pro-personhood supporters, adults and children, present.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">3) Also as of March 16, Senator Larry Martin&#8217;s agreement from the previous week to assign <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> to a favorable Judiciary Subcommittee was posted on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.scstatehouse.gov<\/a> website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">4) The Judiciary Subcommittee public hearing was held today, March 17, with several speakers for and against.\u00a0 At the conclusion of the testimony, the vote of the subcommittee was taken, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a> passed favorably by a voice vote of 2 Yea ( <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0193181795\" target=\"_blank\">Bright<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0402272679\" target=\"_blank\">Corbin<\/a> ) to 1 Nay ( <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0194318159\" target=\"_blank\">Bright Matthews<\/a> ).\u00a0Thank God for the righteous votes of Senators <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0193181795\" target=\"_blank\">Lee Bright<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0402272679\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Corbin<\/a> to establish justice !<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">5) The next step will hopefully be the full Judiciary Committee at its regular meeting next Tuesday,\u00a0March 22 as should be posted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/meetings.php?chamber=S\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> by Friday ( March 18 ) COB.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Contact members from 22-man Judiciary Committee listed posted <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2016-03-15-Senate-Judiciary-Committee-Personhood-Day-at-the-SC-State-House-March-16-2016.doc\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, especially these Senators:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0141193165\" target=\"_blank\">Sean Bennett<\/a> ( R &#8211;
