5 on April 12, 2016.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-size: x-large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-size: large;\"><u>Praise the Lord<\/u> !\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">&#8220;For with God nothing shall be impossible.&#8221;\u00a0 Luke 1:37, <a href=\"http:\/\/bartleby.com\/108\/\">KJV<\/a><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> SC Personhood Constitutional Amendment sponsor, Senator <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?code=0193181795\">Lee Bright<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">( R-Greenville, Spartanburg ) did a commendable job explaining <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a>, and defending<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: large;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> in response to questions by one Republican Senator and several Democrat\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Senators ( <u>audio<\/u> posted <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/DS_21086.WMA\">here<\/a> ).\u00a0 Senator Bright&#8217;s diligence in his remarks to repeatedly<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>\u00a0return the focus of the discussion to the purpose of the constitutional amendment\u00a0<\/b><\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: large;\">in establishing personhood and due process for unborn children was excellent,<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>\u00a0admirable, and vital.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><u>Notes<\/u>: 1) Archived <u>video<\/u> of entire April 12 Senate Judiciary Committee meeting including\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> debate and 11 &#8211; 5 vote is posted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/video\/videofeed.php\">here<\/a> on the SC Legislature <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/\">website<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: large;\">2) Regarding Senator Bright&#8217;s explanations of the technical Amendment; the original version\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> as introduced on April 28, 2015 only addressed the right to life and not property rights.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><b>Likewise, the statutory bill &#8216;Personhood Act of South Carolina&#8217; font-size: large;\">1)<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> the legislation is contested by some pro-&#8220;abortion&#8221; Senators,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">and <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: large;\">2)<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> because there is a May 1st deadline under regular procedures for legislation\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">to crossover from one chamber to another, time is of the essence.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> will need\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">to be voted by the SC Senate to be given &#8220;Special Order&#8221;.\u00a0 It takes 2\/3 of the Senators\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">present and voting for a bill to be given Special Order.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">This report is an initial report.\u00a0 Lord willing, future reporting will have more information\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">and detail, including archived <u>video<\/u> which should be posted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/video\/videofeed.php\">here<\/a> of today&#8217;s entire April 12\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Senate Judiciary Committee meeting including the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> debate and 11 &#8211; font-size: large;\">2)<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> The next goal is to lobby all 45 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/member.php?chamber=S\">SC Senators<\/a> ( 27 Republican, 18 Democrat, 1 vacancy )\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">for their commitment to support &#8220;Special Order&#8221;
