Personhood legislation passed the full SC House of Representatives in 2005 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess116_2005-2006\/bills\/3213.htm\">H3213<\/a>), albeit flawed by a corrupting Amendment added on the House floor, which allowed use of an abortifacient drug in rape cases.
