This year is the first session of the SC General Assembly in which personhood <strong>constitutional amendment<\/strong> legislation has been filed in SC. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a><\/strong> is a <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-27-SC-Personhood-Constitutional-Amendment.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Joint Resolution<\/a> proposing an amendment to the SC Constitution which must first be passed by 2\/3 of the SC Legislators in both the Senate and the House, in order to allow SC citizens the opportunity to vote \u2018Yes\u2019 or \u2018No\u2019 on this question on the November 2016 ballot:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">\u201cMust Article I of the Constitution of this State be amended so as to add Section 3.a. to provide that the privileges and immunities of citizens of South Carolina and the United States shall not be abridged, so that no person shall be deprived of life without due process of law, nor shall any person be denied the equal protection of the laws. These rights shall extend to both born and preborn persons beginning at conception?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SC Legislators have had their opportunity to protect the unborn for the past 17 years, during which Personhood Bills have been active in the SC Legislature each and every year ( <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-28-History-of-Personhood-Legislation-in-South-Carolina-1998-2015.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">1998 &#8211; 2015<\/a> ). However, they have failed to do their God-given ( Romans 13:1-4, <a href=\"http:\/\/bartleby.com\/108\/\" target=\"_blank\">KJV<\/a> ), Oath-sworn duty, to \u201c<strong><em>establish Justice<\/em><\/strong>\u201d (Preamble, <a href=\"http:\/\/constitutionus.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">United States Constitution<\/a>).\u00a0It is time to let the people vote. The headline of a notice by Voice of the Unborn about a personhood constitutional amendment, published in <em>The Times Examiner<\/em> ( Greenville, SC ), April 15, 2015, stated it clearly: <strong>LET US VOTE!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Glory to God, He has <em><strong>already<\/strong><\/em> decided. God says: \u201cThou shalt not kill (murder).\u201d Exodus 20:13, <a href=\"http:\/\/bartleby.com\/108\/\" target=\"_blank\">KJV<\/a>. Amen !<\/p>\n<p>Voters in the June 2014 Republican Primary have <strong><em>already<\/em> approved<\/strong> a personhood constitutional amendment,\u00a0which won by <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-27-SC-Election-Commission-2014-Statewide-Primary-Election-Republican-Question-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">more than 78%<\/a> overall in the 45 SC counties in which it appeared on the <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-27-Official-Ballot-Beaufort-County-Repub-Prim-June-10-2014-p2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Official Ballot <\/a>as<a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-27-Official-Ballot-Beaufort-County-Repub-Prim-June-10-2014-p2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"> Advisory Question #1<\/a>. Praise God ! Except for the removal of one hyphen in the word \u2018pre-born\u2019, the SC Personhood Constitutional Amendment ( <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\" target=\"_blank\">S.719<\/a><\/strong> ) introduced today, is exactly, word for word, identically verbatim to what the\u00a0Republican Primary voters <strong><em>already<\/em> approved<\/strong> by <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-27-SC-Election-Commission-2014-Statewide-Primary-Election-Republican-Question-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">more than 78%<\/a> in June 2014.<\/p>\n<p>So we are calling on SC Legislators, not only to let the people vote, but to let the people vote on what over <a href=\"http:\/\/christianlifeandliberty.net\/2015-04-27-SC-Election-Commission-2014-Statewide-Primary-Election-Republican-Question-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">240,000<\/a> Republican Primary voters have <em><strong>already<\/strong> <\/em>shown by their votes they believe !!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/truthinhistory.org\/no-king-but-jesus-2.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Christians<\/a> among America\u2019s forefathers rendered <a href=\"http:\/\/truthinhistory.org\/no-king-but-jesus-2.html\" target=\"_blank\">the historic battle-cry<\/a> \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.daveblackonline.com\/no_king_but_king_jesus.htm\" target=\"_blank\">No King but King Jesus!<\/a>\u201d.
