href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/CommitteeInfo\/senatejudiciary.php\">Senate Judiciary Committee<\/a> met for nearly three hours on Tuesday, March 22, however the meeting ended five items short ( after finishing item #19 ) before reaching the last item ( #24 out of 24 <a href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/agendas\/121s1648.pdf\">Agenda<\/a> items ), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> SC Personhood Constitutional Amendment.<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">With the SC Senate in Recess all of next week ( March 27 &#8211; April 2 ), the next <a href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/meetings.php?chamber=S\">regular Tuesday<\/a> meeting\u00a0of the full <a href=\"http:\/\/scstatehouse.gov\/CommitteeInfo\/senatejudiciary.php\">Senate Judiciary Committee<\/a> will likely be Tuesday, April 5 at 3pm.\u00a0 It is expected that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a>\u00a0 will be taken up at that meeting.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>At present, there are eight known votes in support of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> on the 22-man Senate Judiciary Committee.\u00a0One of the non-supporting Senators has agreed to abstain, meaning we may need up to 11 votes for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scstatehouse.gov\/sess121_2015-2016\/bills\/719.htm\">S.719<\/a> to pass on April 5.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: x-large;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size:
