Greenwood) offered a proposal for the Conference Committee to consider that would ban &#8220;abortions&#8221; after a pregnancy is diagnosed (not at conception), and included all the exceptions, and repeals current SC Code Section 44-41-20, which the SC Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sccourts.org\/courtOrders\/displayOrder.cfm?orderNo=2022-08-17-01\">August 17, 2022 Order<\/a> identified as the codification of Roe v Wade still present in SC Law.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 95%;\">3) Senator Cash (R &#8211; Anderson) offered a proposal for the Conference Committee to consider that would ban &#8220;abortions&#8221; <\/span><\/strong><strong>after a pregnancy is diagnosed (not at conception), and included all exceptions EXCEPT for the so-called fatal fetal &#8220;anomaly&#8221; exception, <\/strong><strong>and repeals current SC Code Section 44-41-20, which the SC Supreme Court <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sccourts.org\/courtOrders\/displayOrder.cfm?orderNo=2022-08-17-01\">August 17, 2022 Order<\/a> identified as the codification <\/strong><strong>of Roe v Wade still present in SC Law.<\/strong><br \/>\n______________________________________________<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: xx-small;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b><span style=\"font-size: 95%;\">There are also some other differences between the McCravy and Cash proposals; the McCravy proposal essentially including what is allowed under House Rules for a Conference Committee Report without Free Conference powers; and the Cash proposal<br \/>\nessentially including what is allowed under Senate Rules for a Conference Committee Report without Free Conference powers. However, there are differences between the House and Senate interpretations regarding what is allowed in a Conference Committee Report.
