The issue of personhood for the \u2018fetus\u2019 as being <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">the preeminently critical<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">issue<\/span> was <em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">specifically addressed<\/span><\/em> by a US Supreme Court Justice during the October 11, 1972 <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oyez.org\/cases\/1970-1979\/1971\/1971_70_18\/\">Roe v.
